The senior citizens' oasis in the Swabian town of Weißenhorn is designed in such a way that its residents can spend their retirement together, but with private retreat areas. The load-bearing structure of the building is made of cross-laminated timber of the Massiv-Holz-Mauer (MHM) brand. Thanks to the prefabrication of wall and façade elements, the retirement home could be realized quickly and efficiently.
