Good for people and the environment – the Massiv-Holz-Mauer®

Building and living with our construction system

Modern humans spend more time indoors than in the open air. It is therefore not insignificant which materials we surround ourselves with during this time. The Massiv-Holz-Mauer® makes it possible to combine the advantages of a natural building material made from untreated timber with the structural benefits of a solid construction. Forward-thinking developers, public authorities and decision-makers are therefore increasingly opting for a biologically sound construction system – whether they are erecting a new building or adding a storey or extension to an existing property.

Low resource and energy consumption
With regard to CO2 emissions and in view of the use of wood as a renewable natural material as well as the regional manufacturing of the MHM elements, the ecological balance of the building material MHM is many times superior to conventional construction methods based on finite resources. Only those who build in harmony with nature and think sustainably for the long term can meet the needs of subsequent generations and truly protect our environment. Removing resources carefully from the natural cycle means that sustainable reforestation will be able to provide sufficient wood for generations to come – without the associated problems of emissions and waste.

The Massiv-Holz-Mauer® is produced decentralised by our MHM manufacturers at various locations in Europe and can therefore be regionally procured and manufactured using domestic timbers; or even using the developer’s own timber. In this way, the added value remains in the respective region.
